Food for the soul

From my childhood to now, nothing quite beats homemade food and this is especially true for soups made from whatever is left in the fridge, is ready in the garden or happens to be on offer at the supermarket. It was also amazing what my mum could conjure up from a few ingredients and when this is combined with fresh, homemade bread you have a delicious, filling meal.
